Head Coach Kevin Parrish wants four more points from the Invicta Dynamos as they face a weekend of two league fixtures.
Starting the weekend five points behind NIHL South league leaders Chelmsford Chieftains, Parrish knows his side need to record two wins to keep up the pressure on their Essex rivals.
They will kick off the weekend with Wightlink Raiders coming to Gillingham on Saturday night before heading to Milton Keynes on Sunday evening to take on an in form Thunder side.
Parrish’s side will be looking to avenge the 8-7 loss to Wightlink Raiders at the start of the season when the two teams meet at Silver Blades and the Dynamos Head Coach confirmed to Kent Sports News that new import Ilja Urushev has been cleared to make his debut for the side on Saturday night:
“Ilja trained last night (Thursday) and fitted straight in. He is ready to play this weekend.”
The Dynamos Head Coach went on to explain how he wants his side to fully focus on two wins this weekend:
“It’s a massive four points for us this weekend if we want to compete for this Championship.”
“It’s a battle all weekend and we have to play for 120 minutes.”
With goals coming thick and fast in most of the Dynamos games this season, it’s expected the game against Wightlink could well turn out to be a classic and if the match on the Isle of Wight is anything to go by, it’s one not to miss.
