Kevin Parrish believes the Invicta Dynamos have been handed a big boost by two signings going into this weekend’s games.

Kent’s premier ice hockey side face the Cardiff NIHL Devils in Gillingham on Saturday night before making the trip to the South coast to take on the Solent Devils on Sunday evening.

They’ll be boosted though by the signing of netminder Damian King and the return of forward Steve Osman with the pair set to add much needed experience to a Dynamos roster that has struggled in recent weeks.

Last weekend the Dynamos lost 5-0 at home to Streatham Redskins in the NIHL South and that came off the back of a 5-1 defeat at home to Chelmsford Chieftains in the NIHL Southern Cup and Parrish is determined his side turn around their form with two wins this weekend:

“It’s a big boost with King and Osman coming in and has given the boys a lift after two losses at home.”

“We need four points to get back on track.”

Adam MCNicoll will once again be missing, whilst Josh Condren will be assessed after missing the last couple of games with two way signings Haydn and Taylor Wootton expected to be playing with Guildford this weekend.

The Dynamos go into the game seventh in the NIHL South having won three of their opening four games and sit ten points behind league leaders Streatham Redskins who have played six games more.

Two wins this weekend and the Dynamos could be as high as fifth in the league.

Saturday night’s game against Cardiff NIHL Devils at Silver Blades in Gillingham should see a good crowd come out to see the new signings with face off at 5:15pm.
