Emmanuel Osadebe has today signed a new deal at Gillingham Football Club.
The 19-year-old Irishman, who joined the Gills from the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation College programme last May, has signed a new one-year deal.
There is also an option on extending the contract for an additional 12 months.
“I’m really excited, I’m already looking forward to the new season,” he said.
“The last year was great for me; I was just disappointed that we did not get in the play-offs.
“Being voted Man of the Match on my debut against Sheffield United and playing in the FA Cup are special memories, but I’ve got new targets and new goals to aim for now.”
Osadebe made 12 starts and nine substitute appearances during the 2015/16 campaign. His solo effort in last November’s 3-1 victory over Bury at the MEMS Priestfield Stadium earned him the Goal of the Season prize, an award voted for by the club’s fans.
