On the day, the Premier League announced their fixtures for the new season, the Southern Counties Eastern Football League have also confirmed the opening fixtures for their own Premier Division.
The season, which as League Chair Denise Richmond confirmed to KSN a couple of weeks ago, will only begin if supporters are admitted, have announced the first three rounds of fixtures with “the Big Kick-Off” set for Saturday 5th September.
Of those first fixtures, last seasons “Champions in waiting” Corinthian begin at Salters Lane against Canterbury City, whilst their nearest challengers – Beckenham Town and Chatham Town – both begin on the road at Deal Town and Erith & Belvedere, respectively.
League new boys Balham will be Danny Kedwell’s first opponents in a Holland & Blair shirt, whilst the other new team, Tower Hamlets, travel to Bearsted.
