Forest sacked Billy Davies on Monday following their heavy defeat at Derby. Davies and his coaching staff failed to appear at Forest’s training ground on Monday morning.Notts Forest

Neil Warnock was widely expected to take control at the City Ground but declined the opportunity. Gary Brazil will take charge on Tuesday evening.

Charlton need a win to try to pull clear of the relegation zone and Jose Riga will be looking to take advantage of Forest’s woes.

The Addicks recalled Joe Pigott from his loan spell at Gillingham on Monday and are still looking to add a quality player or two to their squad before the loan window closes on Thursday.

Ideally, Riga would like to add to his squad before the Forest game.

Riga will monitor his squad for tiredness and may make a change or two to freshen the team up.

Ben Hamer is likely to have an unchanged back four of Lawrie Wilson, Michael Morrison, Dorian Dervite amd Rhoys Wiggins in front of him.

Diego Poyet and Johnnie Jackson may be amongst those that Riga will consider resting and Danny Green will find Reza Ghoochannejhad vying for the wide right spot.

Jon Obika could be partnered by Marvin Sordell up front. The Addicks could look like this:

Hamer; Wilson, Morrison, Dervite, Wiggins; Green, Poyet, Cousins, Ajdarevic; Obika, Sordell.

Subs: Thuram-Ulien, Nego, Wood, Jackson, Pritchard, Church, Ghochannejhad.

The referee will be Andy Haines from Tyne & Wear.

Riga will feel that his team should be capable of taking something from this game and will be targeting a win.
