It was a mixed afternoon for Kent’s non league clubs with Bromley going out of the cup, whilst Ebbsfleet United came back from behind to win.
Bromley’s hopes of pulling of an FA Cup upset were denied at the Matchroom Stadium with the League One side running out 3-0 winners with Aaron Rhule sent off for the visitors.
Ebbsfleet United came back from a goal down to win 2-1 against Stockport County at Stonebridge Road. Calum Willock and Nataniel Pinney were on target for Liam Daish’s side who move up to 14th in the Conference Premier.
Despite taking an early lead at Boreham Wood through Harry Baker, Dover Athletic went on to lose 4-2 and missed their chance to push towards the top of the Conference South.
James Walker scored a 66th minute penalty for the Whites, but between Baker’s goal and Walker’s penalty the home side had scored four to deny Nicky Forster’s side.
Frannie Collin, Scott Kinch and Tim Olorunda scored the goals as Tonbridge Angels recorded a 3-2 win at home to Staines Town whilst Adam Green was on target for Dartford as they drew 1-1 with Weston-Super-Mare at Princes Park.
