Ebbsfleet United eased their relegation fears with a resounding 4-1 win over Southport at Stonebridge Road on Saturday afternoon.

The Fleet were 4-0 up within the space of half an hour with Liam Bellamy, Stefan Payne, Nathan Elder and Matt Godden all on target for Liam Daish’s side.

Southport were to pull a goal back, but it was merely a consolation as Ebbsfleet were worthy winners.

Meanwhile, Dartford were beaten 3-0 at Hyde with Osayamen Osawe, Matthew Blinkhorn and Louis Almond scoring for the home side.

Welling United pulled further clear at the top of the Blue Square Bet South league with a 2-1 win at Billericay Town.

Goals from Fraser Franks and Ross Lafayette sent the Wings six points clear at the top with a game in hand.

Meanwhile, Dover Athletic were frustrated at Salisbury City with the game abandoned at half time with the game goalless after the referee deemed the pitch unfit to continue.
