There were some great results for Kent’s non league clubs with Dartford and Bromley both winning, whilst Ebbsfleet, Dover and Welling all drew.
With Dartford’s game postponed from Friday night, the match was moved back to a 1pm kick off at Princes Park and it paid dividends as Tony Burman’s side beat league leaders Wrexham 2-1.
Jack Evans came off the bench to level for the Darts with Elliot Bradbrook scoring a late winner.
Meanwhile, Ebbsfleet United had goalkeeper Preston Edwards to thank after he saved a last minute to earn a point at home to Newport County.
After trailing at the break, Fleet were to register a point with Liam Enver-Marum scoring the important goal as Liam Daish’s side scrap to avoid relegation.
In the Blue Square Bet South, Bromley were comfortable winners at home to Truro City with Ali Fuseini, Louie Theophanous and Pierre Joseph-Dubois brace sealing all three points for Mark Goldberg’s side.
Tyrone Sterling and Barry Cogan gave Dover Athletic a 2-0 half time lead at home to Havant & Waterlooville, but the visitors were to score twice themselves with the Whites still third in the table.
Welling United stay top of the league on goal difference after being held at home by Basingstoke Town with Jake Gallagher scoring an equaliser for the Wings in the 94th minute.
