Non League Weekend Round Up

Ebbsfleet United recorded a much needed win, whilst Dover Athletic stopped Welling United’s charge with a win at Crabble on Saturday.Non League

Liam Daish’s side finally got the result they deserved at Stonebridge Road with two goals from Josh Scott and one from Liam Enver-Marum giving them all three points against Gateshead.

Meanwhile, Dartford were beaten 2-1 at Lincoln City with Lee Noble’s goal not enough for the Darts who couldn’t beat the ten man Imps side.

In the Blue Square Bet South, Dover Athletic were the team to stop Welling United from making it thirteen straight league wins with the 3-2 victory.

The Whites did it the hard way as they came from behind twice with Joe Healy and Lee Clarke giving the visitors the lead on two seperate occasions.

However, goals from Ben May, Callum Willock and Billy Bricknell made it two wins from two for new manager Chris Kinnear.

Bromley were beaten 2-1 at home by Basingstoke Town with Danny Waldren’s penalty turning out to be a consolation for the Ravens, with Tonbridge Angels comfortably beaten 4-0 at home by Chelmsford City.

Tunbridge Wells booked their place in the FA Vase last sixteen for the first time in their history with a 1-0 win at home to Dunston UTS.
