Both Dartford and Ebbsfleet United tasted late heartbreak in the Conference Premier as they both conceded late goals.
Alfreton Town edged closer towards a mid-table berth after coming out on top against Dartford in a five-goal thriller at the Impact Arena.
The Darts made a flying start to the encounter, Ryan Hayes firing them into the lead after just three minutes of play.
Alfreton’s Danny Meadows restored parity on the stroke of half-time before Nathan Collier fired Dartford back into the lead in the 59th minute.
However, Anton Brown popped up in the 75th minute to level the scores before Meadows netted his second of the afternoon on 89 minutes to help his side claim all three points.
Meanwhile, Conner Robinson netted a 90th-minute goal for Lincoln City to cancel out Tom Phipp’s 36th-minute opener in a 1-1 draw with Ebbsfleet United at Stonebridge Road.
In the Conference South, second-placed Welling United edged a seven-goal thriller against basement side Truro City at Park View Road.
Loui Fazakerley gave the Wings an 8th minute lead but goals from Kieffer Moore on 26 and 32 minutes sandwiched by an Andy Watkins effort gave the Cornish side a shock 3-1 lead.
A Joe Healy penalty on 62 minutes started the hosts` comeback with Ross Lafayette pulling the Wings level 6 minutes from time before Anthony Acheampong earned all three points in stoppage time.
Dover Athletic remain in third spot, despite going down to a 1-0 defeat to Staines Town at Crabble.
David Wheeler scored the only goal of the game after 38 minutes for Marcus Gayle`s side.
Weston-super-Mare edged into the play-off places after beating Tonbridge Angels 2-0 at the Woodspring Stadium.
Ross Stearn bagged a brace for the Seagulls after 43 and 68 minutes.
Bromley saw off Eastleigh 3-1 at Hayes Lane.
Jai Reason gave the visitors the boost of an early 4th minute lead from the penalty spot.
Ali Fuseini gave the home parity in the 27th minute and Pierre Joseph-Dubois put them in front 2 minutes after half-time.
Louie Theophanous made the game safe for Bromley with a third on 57 minutes.
