Non League Weekend Round Up
Non League Weekend Round Up

It wasn’t the best of weekends for Dartford, Ebbsfleet United, Bromley and Tonbridge Angels as they all lost, but there were wins for Dover Athletic and Welling United.

Ebbsfleet United remain near the foot of the Conference as they went down 4-1 at Mansfield Town with Liam Enver-Marum scoring the goal for Fleet whilst Dartford came back from 4-0 down at home to Lincoln City to lose 4-2 with Harry Crawford scoring both of the Darts goals.

Two goals from Kiernan Hughes-Mason and one from Ross Lafayette kept Welling United second in the Blue Square Bet South league, making it eight straight wins for the Wings.

A brace from Ben May with one from the penalty spot kept Dover Athletic’s fine run going and they stay level with Welling United in third place.

Ricky Modeste was sent off late on in the second half with the visitors reduced to ten men themselves when Dale Binns saw red.

Basingstoke Town gave their relegation concerns a big boost as they snatched all three points off Tonbridge Angels with a 1-0 win at the Camrose, with Simon Dunn (84) netting the game’s only goal late on.

Farnborough climbed into the final play-off position as they saw off Bromley 3-1 at Hayes Lane.

Josh Huggins (11), Nic Ciardini (30) and Dave Tarpey (59) had put Boro well into the lead before the hour mark, rendering an effort from Ali Fuseini (64) inconsequential in the encounter.
