Dartford, Bromley, Dover Athletic, Tonbridge Angels and Welling United were all victorious on a great day for Kent’s Conference clubs.
Dartford were 4-0 winners at home to Hereford United, with Ebbsfleet United losing 1-0 at Southport in the Conference Premier.
Ryan Hayes opened the scoring for Dartford in the sixth minute before James Rodgers’ 47th minute effort doubled the score.
Danny Harris got in on the act with 76 minutes played with Jon Wallis sealing the win in the 89th minute.
Chris Lever’s last-gasp winner saw Southport edge 10-man Ebbsfleet United.
Lever struck a penalty straight after Patrick Ada was sent off for fouling Chris Almond inside the box.
In a match which produced three penalties, Liam Enver-Marum was first to fail from the spot in the 25th minute. Enver-Marum’s low strike was saved by goalkeeper Tony McMillan after James Folkes’s header struck the arm of Lever inside the area.
Southport then wasted a penalty straight after the interval, as keeper Preston Edwards pushed Tony Gray’s effort on to the post after Folkes and Paul Lorraine brought down Shaun Whalley in the box.
The hosts applied pressure in the closing stages, as Whalley, Karl Ledsham, Alan Moogan and Michael Bakare threatened Edwards’s goal, with the Fleet defence twice clearing off the line.
Edwards, however, was unable to keep out Lever’s 89th minute decider following Ada’s costly foul on Almond.
Meanwhile, Bromley were 1-0 winners at Truro City with Dover Athletic coming back from a goal down to win 2-1 at Bath City in the Conference South.
Tonbridge Angels got their season up and running with a 4-2 win at home to Boreham Wood, with Welling United pulling off a fine 3-0 win at Farnborough.
Angels fought back to earn a 4-2 win at Longmead Stadium having at once stage relinquished a two-goal lead.
An early George Purcell double (4, 6) put the hosts in front, only for Omer Riza to pull one back for the Wood from the spot in the 26th minute.
David Hutton the leveled the score in the 68th, but Frannie Collin (69) hit back for Tommy Warrilow’s men and Lee Browning’s 89th minute effort capped off an impressive encounter.
Nicky Forster’s Dover Athletic edged closer towards the play-off places with a 2-1 win against Bath City at Twerton Park.
The Romans drew first blood through Charlie Griffin on 50 minutes, only for the Whites to claim the lead thanks to goals from Billy Bricknell (61) and Steven Thomson (70).
Jamie Day’s Welling United picked up a third straight win with a 3-0 triumph over Farnborough at Cherrywood Road, a brace from Joe Healy (4, 65) sandwiching Keirnan Hughes-Mason’s 14th-minute goal.
And finally, Bromley picked a win on the road against Truro City courtesy of Pierre Joseph-Dubois’s 38th minute winner at Treyew Road.
