Non League Weekend Round Up
Non League Weekend Round Up

Dartford got their season up and running at Princes Park with a win over Kidderminster Harriers, whilst Dover won away at Hornchurch.

The Darts were 1-0 win winners courtesy of Lee Noble’s first half goal to give them their first win in the Blue Square Bet Premier league.

Ebbsfleet United had a day to forget after they arrived late at Edgar Street when their coach broke down on the journey west.

When they finally got there, the game kicked off at 4:30pm. with the home side going 2-0 up before the break and Liam Bellamy was sent off for Fleet shortly before half time.

They went 3-0 down shortly after the interval with Moses Ashikodi pulling one back almost straight away, but they were 4-1 down near the end with Joe Howe scoring a consolation shortly before time.

Meanwhile, Dover Athletic got their first win of the season in the Blue Square Bet South league courtesy of Barry Cogan’s late free kick.

Tonbridge Angels and Welling United shared the spoils at the Longmead Stadium with Harry Baker giving the Wings the lead five minutes into the second half.

Frannie Collin’s penalty just seven minutes later levelled the score with the home side finishing the game with ten men after Olly Schulz was sent off.

It wasn’t the result Bromley were hoping for after they took the lead at Chelmsford City through Richard Pacquette.

Jamie Slabber and Anthony Cook were to put the home in front, but the Ravens pulled level as Pacquette scored his second of the game.

Slabber was to seal the win for the home side with Bromley finishing the game with ten men after Marlon Patterson was sent off.
