Non League Weekend Round Up

Catch up with how Kent’s non league clubs fared this weekend with all the results and a round up of all the action.

In the Conference Premier league, Ebbsfleet United remain fourteenth after a late goal saw them defeated 1-0 at Mansfield Town.

In the Conference South, Dartford were made to sweat for their three points in a 2-1 win over Maidenhead United in a match that saw the Dart’s Danny Harris dismissed after picking up two yellow cards while Jermaine Hinds was handed a straight red.

Jacob Erskine (56) opened the scoring for the promotion contenders with Luke Wilkinson (62) adding a second before Paul Semakula (63) pulled a goal back for United to ensure a tense finish.

Welling United remained in third place following their 0-0 draw with Salisbury City whilst eighth-placed Tonbridge Angels and Chelmsford City, in fifth, drew their clash 0-0 and sixth-placed Dover Athletic lost 2-0 to Boreham Wood.

David Bryant (20) and Omer Riza (88) netted the goals in that tie.

Neither side moved up or down the table as a result but Basingstoke are now level on points with the Whites, in seventh on 58 points.

Bromley defeated Weston-super-Mare 1-0 with Ali Fuseini (62) the lone goalscorer to improve their standing by one place and drop the Seagulls on place down into 12th.

Meanwhile, Herne Bay bowed out of the FA Vase at the final hurdle as they lost 2-1 at West Auckland Town, 4-3 on aggregate despite Tom Bryant putting the visitors ahead.
