It was a real mixed bag for Kent’s non league clubs this weekend with some sides doing well, whilst others floundered.

In the Conference Premier, Ebbsfleet United beat Kettering Town 1-0 at Stonebridge Road with Ricky Shakes scoring the winner for Liam Daish’s side.

Dartford couldn’t keep up the pressure on Conference South leaders Woking as they lost 1-0 at Dorchester Town, whilst third placed Welling United were held to a goalless draw at Park View Road by Sutton United with player manager Jamie Day sent off in the second half.

Dover Athletic’s hopes of claiming a play-off place took a massive dent when they were soundly beaten 4-0 by Staines Town at Perry’s Crabble.

Tonbridge Angels came from behind to draw 1-1 at Havant & Waterlooville with Lee Browning scoring the equaliser.

Bromley did their survivial chances no harm at all by picking up a point at home to Farnborough with Pierre Joseph-Dubois scoring the goal for Mark Goldberg’s side.
