As we reach the midway point in this busy Christmas period there are plenty more points to be won between now and the New Year.
Ebbsfleet United were the county’s only side to pick up all three points on Boxing Day and they’ll be looking to continue their good run of home form. Daryl McMahon’s side haven’t lost at Stonebridge Road in the league since late October when Torquay United came to Stonebridge Road. On Saturday they welcome playoff bound Dagenham and Redbridge.
Bromley, who the Fleet beat on the 26th, make the short trip into London to face Leyton Orient. The hosts have struggled during their first season in the non-league system and Neil Smith’s side will be looking to end the year with three points.
Dover Athletic and MaidstoneUnited played out a 2-2 draw in Boxing Day and before the rematch on the opening day of 2018 they’ll have a chance to pick up points elsewhere. The Stones are this weekend’s early kick off when their game at Aldershot is shown on BT Sport whilst Dover Athletic host Yorkshire side Halifax.
In the National League South a thrilling game saw Dartford beat Welling United at Park View Road and with no games on Saturday, they’ll need to wait until the reverse fixture on New Year’s Day for another game.
There is however, a full list of fixtures in the Bostik Premier this weekend and the top fixture comes from Folkestone where Invicta have the chance to go as high as third with a win against struggling Burgess Hill Town.
Elsewhere in the league, Margate will be looking to continue their pressure on the playoff sides when they make the trip from Thanet to Leiston whilst mid-table Tonbridge Angels are also away at Brightlingsea Regent.
Saturday also sees a full list of fixtures in the Bostik South where an all- Kent tie is set to steal the show. High flying Cray Wanderers, who are coming off an incredible 7-0 win on Boxing Day face Faversham Town.
We also see if Ashford United can bring 2017 to an end with a win against Shoreham at Homelands, Herne Bay host Hastings and another match up sees Whyteleafe host Sittingbourne.
Hythe Town are in action earlier than usual due to their away match in Guernsey and VCD Athletic are also on the road at Walton Casuals. The weekend’s fixtures in the top four levels of the non-league pyramid comes to an end with Ramsgate hosting Greenwich Borough and Thamesmead Town facing Molesey at home.
