It was a good night on Tuesday as plenty of Kent’s non league clubs picked up valuable points.
Ebbsfleet United continued their fine run of late with a 1-0 win over Hereford United at Stonebrodge Road.
Josh Scott scored the all important goal for Liam Daish’s side on 37 minutes to take them off the bottom of the Blue Square Bet Premier League and give them a real chance of survival.
Welling United moved to the top of the Blue Square Bet South league with a 2-0 win against Farnborough at Park View Road.
Anthony Acheampong and Ross Lafayette scored either side of the break for Jamie Day’s side to lift them above Salisbury City in the table.
Meanwhile, Tonbridge Angels picked up a much needed 1-0 home win against AFC Hornchurch with Chris Piper scoring the only goal of the game from the penalty spot just on the stroke of half time.
Bromley came from behind to rescue a 1-1 draw against Hayes & Yeading United at Hayes Lane with Pierre Joseph-Dubois cancelling out an opener from Tom Collins.
