Dartford progressed through to the FA Trophy semi-finals with a 3-2 win against FC Halifax Town at Princes Park on Wednesday night.

Goals from Lee Noble, Elliot Bradbrook and Ryan Hayes took Tony Burman’s side through to face Grimbsy Town in the last four and one step closer to a trip to Wembley.

Welling United made it a staggering twelve straight league wins on Tuesday night as they comfortably beat Boreham Wood 4-0.Non League

Jamie Day’s side showed why they were promotion candidates in the Blue Square Bet South league when they dispatched the visitors to Park View Road.

An own goal either side of the break along with goals from Fraser Franks and Kiernan Hughes-Mason saw the Wings through to victory that takes them to within three points of league leaders Salisbury City with two games in hand.

In the International Challenge Trophy game at Princes Park, over 3,000 turned out to watch England C take on Turkey for a place in the final, with the visitors going through courtesy of a late goal against Paul Fairclough’s side.

Tonbridge Angels and Thamesmead Town progressed through to the Kent Senior Cup semi-finals with the Angels winning 5-1 at home to ten man Bromley after extra time, whilst Thamesmead went through 3-1 against Ramsgate.

A double by Alex Flisher helped Maidstone United extend their lead in the Ryman League Division One South to six points with a 3-1 win at Corinthian-Casuals.

Ian Draycott opened the scoring after 8 minutes and Flisher added two in 7 minutes early in the second half. Steve Goddard replied for Casuals with 14 minutes to go.

Fourth-placed Faversham Town suffered a setback when they went down 1-0 at Walton & Hersham – only their second away defeat. Graeme Purdy scored the only goal of the game for the second time in four days, a 25th minute penalty.

Sittingbourne, in fifth place, could only draw 2-2 at Home to Herne Bay after taking a 2-0 lead. Ryan Cooper’s 3rd minute strike gave the Brickies a good start and Joe Taylor added another on 26 minutes.

Tunji Abgajae pulled one back with 20 minutes left and Sam Bewick’s penalty levelled it 2 minutes later. The visitors had Tom Bryant sent-off near the end.
