Both Tonbridge Angels and Welling United pulled off superb results in the Trophy and league on Tuesday night.
Tonbridge Angels recorded a late victory in the FA Trophy at Merthyr Town with Sonny Miles scoring the opener for the Kent side.
Despite being pegged back, Lee Browning’s injury time winner secured the Angels a Second Round tie away to Dartford.
Meanwhile, Welling United moved up to second in the Blue Square Bet South league with a 5-2 defeat of Billericay Town.
Ben Martin (11), Joe Healy (pen 37) and Scott Kinch (42) gave the Wings a healthy first-half head-start before Craig Edwards (72) pulled a goal back for the Blues. But Keirnan Hughes-Mason (74) and Jon Main (76) swiftly ended any hopes the visitors may have had of a comeback before Joe Benjamin (90) bagged a late consolation.
