It’s the calm before the storm this week with just four Senior fixtures this midweek – all of which are on Tuesday – two of which see two of our National League sides hopeful of progress in the Buildbase FA Trophy.
Maidstone United welcome National League side Woking to the Gallagher with boss Harry Wheeler all too well aware of the task facing his National League strugglers as Wheeler himself was with Billericay Town last season – winners to welcome either Maidenhead Oxford City.
The other replay is down in Hampshire where Andy Hessenthaler takes his Dover Athletic side to Havant & Waterlooville after the dramatic late equaliser kept Dover’s recent improvement going.
The League is arguably the main focus of both sides – Dover currently 21st and Maidstone 23rd – so team selection will be fascinating with the two Kent sides facing off twice over Christmas against each other.
Elsewhere there’s BOSTIK League action for Margate, Sittingbourne and VCD Athletic.
In the Premier Division, former Gills boss Mark Stimson bring his AFC Hornchurch side to Hartsdown Park, to face a Margate side who will climb into the Division’s top ten with victory, whilst in the South East, Sittingbourne and VCD Athletic will try again after their original date last month was washed out.
