Bromley picked up a point from their trip to South Wales on Tuesday night, thanks to a second half equaliser from Michael Cheek, scoring his twentieth goal of the season in the process, although on another night he may have had more with the number of chances The Ravens created.

Andy Woodman, who was serving touchline ban, kept the 4-5-1 formation, but made several changes to his side from the defeat to Salford last weekend, including Sam Long making his first league start in goal.
Bromley started the game brightly with Danny Imray having a goal ruled out for offside, but Newport then came into the game, playing out from the back and looking to open up any gaps in The Ravens midfield.
Baker-Richardson shooting wide under pressure when latching on to a Martin cross. As the half went on Bromley looked dangerous again with Imray shooting over from a tight angle and Kamarl Grant hitting the inside of the post after good buildup play from Idris Odutayo and Imray.
Just after the half hour it was the home side who took the lead though, when Glennon’s corner found Evans at the front post and he flicked his header home across goal and just inside the far stick for 1-0.
Bromley responded to going behind by pressing again, Jude Arthurs had a corner turned over his own bar by Thomas and from the next corner Cheek saw his shot saved by the feet of Townsend when well placed.
Ben Thompson then had a volley blocked and Cheek was off target again when he latched on to a Thompson cross before colliding with Townsend, side footing wide. Grant was next to go close, before the final chance fell to Cheek again who had a header from an Arthurs free kick saved by Townsend who would be named man of the match.
The second half saw Newport start well, Kamwa had a shot saved by Long and then was denied by the keeper again when his volley was palmed away.
After Townsend had to have lengthy treatment the game got going again and Bromley came right back into things, Grant firing over from 20 yards out. County could have doubled their lead when Kamwa crossed for Martin, but his free header bounced up off the turf and was gathered by Long.
Then on 72 minutes The Ravens drew level when two subs combined, Adam Mayor playing in Cameron Congreve down the left and the Swansea loanee put in the perfect cross for Cheek to head home at the far post to make it 1-1.
Newport had a good spell following the equaliser, but Bromley held out, the closest they came was when Spellman hit the side netting from tight angle and Bromley did briefly press in injury time, but it ended all square which was a fair result over the piece.
The point leaves Bromley thirteenth in League Two ahead of their home game with Accrington Stanley on Saturday afternoon.
