With the three arrivals at Priestfield this week, it was perhaps inevitable that there would be departures.

And indeed, it has been confirmed that Navid Nasseri after discussions with Steve Lovell has agreed to terminate his contract by mutual consent due to personal reasons.

The midfielder, 22, joined the club on trial in January 2018 and earned himself a deal until the end of the 2017/18 season, which was later extended by 12 months.  In all, he has featured 11 times for the Gills first team and scored one goal.
