Just when it seemed Charlton’s injury list was finally getting better, they suffer three more.
Hopefully, none of them will be long term, but at least two of the duo will miss Saturday’s trip to Bradford.
Arsenal loanee, Krystian Bielik, missed Saturday’s win over Wycombe with a calf strain. He is set to have a scan this week, but looks unlikely to be fit in time for the weekend trip to Bradford.
Definitely ruled out of the visit to Valley Parade are Darren Pratley and Nicky Ajose, who both have hamstring problems.
The timing is particularly unfortunate for Ajose who has started the last two games. He had to be withdrawn at half-time against Wycombe.
All action Pratley has played an awful lot of football since arriving at The Valley, which may have been a contributory factor. He had to be replaced early in the second half on Saturday.
The duo’s replacements – Ben Reeves and George Lapslie – sparked the improved performance after the break.
Lee Bowyer will welcome back recent arrivals, Josh Cullen and Jamie Ward, from international duty this week.
Cullen was impressive on his debut at Southend, but Ward has yet to make his bow.
