This week sees the start of a new series on KSN where we highlight the midweek fixtures in your “Monday morning look ahead” for games this week involving Kent clubs between now and the weekend.
Tuesday night sees the Gills “entertain” Spurs under 23s in the Check-A-Trade Trophy but not at Priestfield, but at the Valley as the new pitch at home base will not be ready before the weekend.
Meanwhile, in the Bostik League, Ray Turner will be hoping that his Faversham Town side can recover from their Saturday hammering at Cray as East Grinstead visit Salters Lane whilst at Winches Field there’s a Kent derby between Herne Bay and Phoenix Sports.
Over at the Gallagher Stadium, there’s an intriguing tie in the Kent Senior Cup as Maidstone United welcome Dover Athletic. Will new Stones boss Harry Wheeler be facing Dover’s new boss? KSN have been told that talks between Dover and Andy Hessenthaler will take place this week.
There’s SCEFL action at AFC Croydon Athletic, Corinthian. Crowborough and Deal where respective visitors are League leaders Beckenham Town, Glebe, Bearsted and Canterbury City.
And finishing the action is both League Cup games in both the Velocity Trophy and SCEFL – Ramsgate play Whitstable Town and Tonbridge Angels play Sevenoaks Town in the Velocity Trophy, whilst it’s Phoenix Sports Res vs. Stansfeld.
Finishing off the week on Wednesday, there’s two more SCEFL League games as Croydon host Fisher and K Sports welcome Sheppey to Cobdown
