The Invicta Dynamos got rewards for a hard working performance by thrashing Milton Keynes Thunder 11-4 on Saturday night.
Kevin Parrish’s side were back to their electrifying best as they comfortably won their league clash away from home.
With only Peter Beerling missing from the roster, the Dynamos went in search of two league points and they did it with ease.
Arran Strawson was to open the scoring for the Dynamos as early as the sixth minute with Callum Fowler making it 2-0 just three minutes later.
Import Juraj Huska extended the Dynamos lead even further four minutes before the end of the first period, with Milton Keynes pulling a goal back a minute into the second.
However, the Dynamos were to restore their three goal lead in the 25th minute as Fowler bagged his second of the night. The home side weren’t to lie down though as they pulled it back to 4-2 within a minute to keep the game on a knife edge.
Two further goals from the Dynamos in the 35th and 39th minutes were to make it 6-2 with Andy Smith and Danny Hammond adding their names to the scoresheet, whilst Milton Keynes clawed one back just before the end of the second to go in at 6-3.
A blistering display in the final period saw the Dynamos add another five to their tally with Smith rounding off a great move to make it 7-3 as the Dynamos scored in the 45th minute despite being shorthanded.
Marek Nahlik then got himself in on the action as he made it 8-3 in the 46th minute, with Danny Hammond making it 9-3 in the 52nd.
Despite the home side pulling it back to 9-4 with six minutes to go, the Dynamos capped off a fine night and secured the two points as Hammond and Fowler both added to their tally for the evening.
The victory sees the Dynamos climb to second in the NIHL South with a trip to third place Chelmsford Chieftains on Sunday night. Face off is at 6:30pm.
