Kent Cricket have confirmed that Matt Milnes will join Yorkshire after the conclusion of the 2022 season.
Milnes joined the Club ahead of the 2019 season and has gone on to make over 90 appearances for the Club, taking 193 wickets.
The right-armer was named the Club’s Bowler of the Year for 2021, the year in which Kent Spitfires were crowned Vitality Blast champions.
On leaving Kent at the end of the season, Milnes said: “I’ve enjoyed every second of my time at Kent and it was an extremely tough decision for me to make to move on.
“I’ve really valued the opportunity given by the Club to develop as a cricketer over the past four seasons and I will also look back at my time at the Club very fondly.
“Winning the Vitality Blast as a Kent player will always be a highlight of my career and I’ve made so many happy memories in the Garden of England.
“Thank you to everyone that has made my time as a Spitfire so enjoyable – the Members, supporters, staff, coaches and of course my fellow teammates.”
Everyone at Kent Sports News wishes Matt the very best for the future.
