Gillingham get their Carabao Cup campaign underway this evening as they head to Millwall at the Den.
There is no extra time in the cup game so if it finishes all square after 90 minutes then it will be straight to the lottery that is penalties.
With the Gills having won their opening two league games of the season, manager Steve Lovell is likely to rest a number of players to ensue that those who haven’t played yet get valuable minutes on the pitch.
Elliott List and Josh Rees are both likely to miss out as they recover from injuries. Striker Connor Wilkinson is in-line for a return to the squad. Alex Lacey and Callum Reilly are possibilities to be involved but may still miss out, whilst Dean Parrett definitely misses out with a hamstring strain.
Millwall are likely to do the same and rest players as the go into the cup campaign but are likely to be favourites for the win.
The fixture will kick-off at 7:45pm
