Bromley play their third pre-season match in the build up to the new National League campaign on Saturday at Hayes Lane, where they entertain League One Millwall.

Neil Smith’s men recorded an impressive 2-1 win over a strong Charlton squad on Tuesday and he will be hoping for a similar performance tomorrow from his new look side against The Lions. Recent signing George Porter opened the scoring with Blair Turgott adding a spectacular second in a great first half display from The Ravens.

Since Tuesday Ugo Udoji had been loaned out to Tonbridge Angels for the season as Smith shapes up his squad and the manager is still looking at a few trialists in the shape of Joe Taylor in goal, former Orient attacker Blair Turgott, ex-Crystal Palace midfielder Connor Dymond and Herne Bay’s centre back Dan Johnson, all of whom impressed against The Addicks.

With injured trio Louis Dennis, Max Porter and Lee Minshull still yet to kick a ball, Smith will have some difficult decisions to make, when they return, in finalising his squad prior to the league season starting on 6^th August.

A big crowd is expected at The Lane will Neil Harris sending a strong team down for what has become a regular fixture between the two sides and visiting fans will recognise a familiar face in ex-Lions player Steve Lovell who joined The Ravens coaching staff in the summer.
