Maidstone based Soccer Elite FA have teamed up with leading designer Karen Millen OBE to raise funds for the charity Teens Unite Fighting Cancer.Soccer Elite KM

Keen to help support local charities including Demelza Hospice Care for Children, Soccer Elite FA have shown their commitment by raising over £10,000 in the calendar year and raised the profile of the charity amongst grass roots football clubs & teams along with professional players through the charity events that they organised.

Teaming up with Teens Unite has been a natural choice for Soccer Elite FA who work with talented youngsters from across Kent and recently they handed over a cheque in excess of £3500 to Karen Millen and Maidstone United’s game against Faversham Town.

Commenting on the award of the cheque, Millen expressed her gratitude for the amount raised:

“we are so pleased that Soccer Elite FA have chosen us as one of their charities for 2013. The work that they do with young people in & around the county is exceptional, including the huge amounts of charity work that they do to support associated charities connected with young people from the county.”

“Raising any funds in this current environment isn’t easy & I would like to express my personal thanks for the tremendous support they are offering our charity both in terms of money raised from events plus time given to different ventures scheduled throughout 2013”
