The Coventry Evening Telegraph is reporting that Charlton are keen to sign Coventry’s 24-year-old Belgian midfielder, Franck Moussa. Franck Moussa

Moussa came through the Anderlecht youth system but has played his entire senior career in England.

He had a particularly impressive 2013/14 campaign, scoring 12 goals from his 39 league appearances.

Moussa is out of contract at the end of the month and is thought to be interesting Wolves, Nottingham Forest and Huddesfield, as well as the Addicks.

Moussa had five years at Southend, making 90 league appearances before moving to Leicester. It was a move that did not really work out for Moussa, he only made 8 appearances in his two years with the Foxes.

He moved on to Forest in the summer of 2013 but quickly switched to Coventry without having made a league appearance at the City Ground.

Moussa made 77 league appearances, scoring 18 goals in his two years with the Sky Blues, and has also had loan spells at Wycombe, Doncaster and Chesterfield during his English career.

It is thought Charlton’s Belgian connections may appeal to Moussa.

There are reports that Jose Riga is keen to take Michael Morrison to Blackpool. Middlesbrough are amongst other Championship clubs thought to be monitoring Morrison’s situation at The Valley.

The defender started 15 of the 16 games during Riga’s tenure and was an unused substitute in the home game against Barnsley.

Morrison is highly rated and it is no surprise that other clubs are keeping tabs on him. The player is keen to stay at The Valley and the club are confident that he will sign a new deal.
