Midfielder arrives at Charlton

Charlton captured Burnley’s Norwegian midfielder,‎ Fredrik Ulvestad, on Wednesday evening.Charlton Athletic

‎The 24-year-old is a box-to-box midfielder and will add energy to the Addicks in the middle of the park. He has joined on a season long loan.
Charlton rebuffed several seven figure bids from Sheffield Wednesday for left-back, Morgan Fox, and knocked back Crystal Palace’s bid for prodigious teenager, Ademola Lookman.
Lookman scored a terrific goal to snatch a point from Bolton on Saturday, and has the x-factor that can turn a game on its head.
Lookman was on England duty throughout the summer, and Russell Slade has used him sparingly thus far this season.
It was not all good news for Slade though. The manager was hoping to move El-Hadji Ba and Jorge Teixeira on, but the pair remain at The Valley.
‎Former Fulham midfielder, Darnell Cole – who trialed with the Addicks on Monday – signed for Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Wednesday.
Charlton were hoping to sign Wolves’, James Henry, but the winner – an Addicks’ target last summer – opted to join Bolton.
Another rumoured target, Motherwell’s Marvin Johnson, joined Oxford on Wednesday.
Former Charlton Player Of The Year, Diego Poyet, had his contract cancelled on Wednesday evening. Poyet is now a free agent and can sign for a new club outside the window.‎
