Two goals from Met Police striker Lloyd Macklin midway through a disappointing and at times bad-natured second period saw Folkestone come away pointless from Imber Court.
They had gone ahead after just four minutes when Jordan Wright laid on a chance for Ian Draycott that the striker converted from close range for his first goal of the season.
Bu t the home side were level ten minutes later through defender Jay Gasson .
Wright found another opening for Invicta just after the half hour, giving Joe Taylor a tap-in but his effort was ruled for offside.
Scott Heard forced a save from Cops’ keeper Luke Williams but things went awry for Folkestone around the 70 minute mark when the Police were awarded a penalty which Macklin converted easily and six minutes later the same player found the net again.
