Margate celebrated the launch of their historic third kit with a 5-1 win against Carshalton Athletic on Tuesday Night in the Velocity Trophy.
The Gate debuted the kit and won 5-1 against Carshalton Athletic on Tuesday evening with Elliott Reeves scoring a hat-trick and Adem Ramaden and Kadell Daniel also on the scoresheet.
The History third kit was developed in partnership with British rock band The Libertines and represented the opportunity for fans and supporters to become part of the club’s history with their names appearing on the kit alongside that of Pete Doherty, Carl Barat, John Hassall and Gary Powell.
Over 600 supporters worldwide purchased the special kit with all having their names emblazoned on the kit.
Margate have announced that the kit will be used in the remainder of the Velocity Trophy games.
