Margate Football Club have confirmed that Craig Holloway and Simon Osborn have accepted the Club’s offer to become joint Managers.
Craig and Simon have been offered a contract to the end of next season, and will be given full management responsibilities with immediate effect.
A statement from the club reads:
“The Club, its supporters and the Board of Directors hope the timing of this appointment will provide a further boost in our attempts to reach this year’s play-off final.”
While Craig and Simon’s caretaker stewardship started with one win in five games as they brought they own ideas and personnel to the squad, the following sequence of just one defeat in 10 has taken the Blues firmly into the promotion picture, and a place in the Ryman League Play-Offs for the first time in the club’s history beckons.
Margate continue their push for promotion to the Blue Square Bet South when they travel to face Carshalton Athletic on Saturday afternoon.
