Margate have completed their signings ahead of their first league game of the new season at home to Hendon, with the recruitment of defender Michael Alalie and midfielder Ryan Dolby.

Alalie was with Canvey Island last season, having made 36 starts and four substitute appearances for the Gulls during the 2011/12 league and cup campaign. Michael is a versatile defender capable of playing as centre-back or on the right side of the defence.

The former Canvey defender has been given the number 18 shirt.

Ryan Dolby ended last season with Welling United in the Blue Square Bet South having made the switch from nearby Bromley. In fact, since 2009, he has switched between the two clubs on a number of occasions; twice in each of the last two seasons!

The 23 year old midfielder – who arguably plays his best football on the left but can also play up front – is a pacey player who likes to run with the ball at defenders.

Ryan has been allocated the number 17 shirt.
