Margate snatched an 85th minute winner as they overcome top of the table Dulwich Hamlet at Hartsdown Park in the Bostik Premier League.
In a tight and tense affair it was Kane Haysman who stole victory for the Blues in front of an impressive crowd of 860 at Hartsdown Park.
In an even opening exchanges neither team were able to create a clear cut chance as both sides cancelled each other out with Jordan Chiedozie and Haysman going closest for the hosts with headers.
The second half started with the visitors looking determined to break the deadlock with Nathan Green and Nyren Clunis both forcing ‘Gate keeper Sam Sargeant into fine saves.
Both sides continued to cancel each other out with substitute Ashley Carew going closest with a free kick that Sargeant was again equal to as the game headed towards a 0-0 draw, however the hosts won it at the death as the ball fell to the feet of Haysman who made no mistake by driving the ball low past Preston Edwards.
The visitors could have grabbed an equaliser at the very death as Green saw a low driven cross hacked off the line by Tom Wynter as Margate held onto their 1-0 lead.
