Holcombe Hockey Club have confirmed the arrival of Teague Marcano as the Trinidad & Tobago international becomes Kwan Browne’s fourth summer signing.

Having previously played under Browne for the likes of Southgate and Hampstead & Westminster, Marcano will need no introduction to the head coach’s methods and expectations.

Marcano has 31 goals in 42 caps for his country, including five hat-tricks, and also played in the inaugural Hockey5s World Cup in Oman earlier this year as Trinidad finished eight of 16 teams.

The 23-year-old scored 16 goals in just six appearances at that tournament and has 33 in 12 competitive 5s appearances for his national side.

In 10 games at various age-group levels for Trinidad & Tobago, Marcano has also scored a further 12 goals.

On joining Holcombe, he said: “I am very excited to be joining Holcombe.

“I can’t wait to get involved and meet everyone.”

Meanwhile, Head Coach Browne added: “Teague is a superb player and will add a different dimension to our squad for the new season.

“I look forward to working with him again and being a part of his long-term development as a player.”
