Maidstone United and Charlton Athletic put on a good show as both sides stepped up their pre-season preparations on Saturday afternoon.
Development coaches, Nathan Jones and Jason Euell, added experienced to a young Charlton squad at Maidstone.
There were also a sprinkling of trialists involved, including former Tottenham youngster, Jack Munns.
Euell rolled back the years when he came on for a second half cameo. Cedric Evina started the game and we understand the player is expected to sign a new contract with the club next week.
Ollie Muldoon scored both Charlton goals, the first from close in after a good run and pull back from Ade Azeez, midway through the first half.
Evina was adjudged to have handled in the box just before the break and Collin stepped up to restore parity from the penalty spot.
Muldoon grabbed the winner near the end. He volleyed against the bar but was alert enough to react first and score at the second attempt.
