Unbeaten Bromley look to continue their great start to the National League season on Monday afternoon when they travel up to York Road to face fifth place Maidenhead Utd.
Neil Smith’s side go into the game having beaten Boreham Wood 1-0 at home on Saturday, while Maidenhead were 2-1 winners at Yeovil Town.
Alan Devonshire’s side have won four, drawn one and lost one of their opening six games, while second place Bromley have won four and drawn two, which sets this game up to be quite a contest as the teams look to keep up in the mix.
When the sides met at the same venue this time last season the match ended 2-2 thanks to two late goals from Bromley. Lining up for The Magpies that day was striker Adrian Clifton, but he will be in The Ravens squad tomorrow.
Both managers were full of praise for their players after their respective wins on Saturday, with Smith impressed with his defenders in particular and Devonshire of his team’s potential to compete at this level.
Jack Holland May be a doubt after turning his ankle against Boreham Wood, but if he does miss out Marc-Anthony Okoye will come in and he was outstanding for the last 20minutes as a sub on Saturday.
This is set up to be a fascinating match up between two form sides who often serve up high scoring games when they meet at this ground.
