Former Gillingham manager Steve Lovell has taken over at Welling United following Brad Quinton’s departure.
Lovell joins the National League South side sitting bottom of the league after their 2-0 loss at home to St Albans City on Tuesday night.
The former Gillingham striker will need no introduction to football fans across Kent having also been on the coaching staff at Bromley under Neil Smith and most recently was the Director of Football at Ebbsfleet United.
Lovell is joined at Park View Road by Tristan Lewis who returns to the club, this time as Assistant Manager and First Team Coach with Craig Lewis also rejoining Welling United to assist with fitness and conditioning.
Welling’s first game with Lovell in charge will be Saturday’s all Kent clash against Tonbridge Angels at Park View Road.
