This weekend is the most prestigious race weekend on the racing calendar – the Monaco Grand Prix and two of our drivers will be there.
Jolyon Palmer and Adrian Quaife-Hobbs will be looking to impress around the streets of Monaco and be on the top step of the podium at the end of the race.
Every young racing driver dreams of racing around the streets of Monaco and Palmer and Quaife-Hobbs will be no different to any of their competitors in the GP2 race on Friday and Saturday afternoon.
Once again it looks as though Stefano Colleti is going to be the man to beat as he currently sits at the top of the championship standings.
Britain’s Sam Bird is currently leading the British championship challenge and he is currently fourth in the standings on 33 points, however Jolyon Palmer is only two points further back in fifth place.
Quaife-Hobbs is currently down in 17th place with seven points in his rookie season in the GP2 championship.
Palmer will be hoping that he can build on the third and fourth places last time out in Barcelona and be on the podium again in the race that everyone wants to win this weekend.
The race weekend begins on Thursday with free practice in the morning and then followed by qualifying for the weekends two races in the afternoon.
Friday see’s the Feature race which will be 42 laps take place around the streets of Monaco, with the 30 lap Sprint race taking place on Saturday to complete the race weekend.
