Larkfield & New Hythe are a club with serious ambitions. They are in their second season of Step 6 football and have plans to move up the Pyramid (The National League South).
The ground at the moment is having the clubhouse extended which will encourage people to come to the ground.
In the future they are looking at selling their ground for development and move across the road and build a brand new stadium which will include a 4G pitch and a training pitch and car park.
The club will have sceptics but having talked to their officials they really have the plans to move forward and they have the backing of former Sports Minister, Tracey Crouch MP.
The 4G pitch would be used by the community which would help the club.
This is another example of a club wanting to move forward and I for one applaud them and hope their dreams do come true.
