On the eve of the start of the Bet Victor Isthmian South East division side Ramsgate have added highly rated midfielder Aaron Lamont to their squad.

The former QPR academy player has plenty of higher level non-league experience with Truro City and Hampton & Richmond Borough in the National League South.

Lamont was part of the Truro side that made the National League South play-offs in 2017/18.

More recently he was with Kingstonian in the Isthmian Premier league where he appeared 41 times.

The midfielder will go straight into Nick Davis’ squad for today’s opening game of the season at home to Chichester City FC.
