Striker Jo Kuffour has agreed a deal that will see him back with Gillingham on a permanent deal until the end of the season.
The former Bristol Rovers striker has agreed a return to Medway after a highly successful loan spell from the Pirates in which he scored seven times in twelve appearances.
Kuffour has been on Gills boss Andy Hessenthaler’s wish list for some time now and the capture of the talented 30 year old has pleased themanager, telling the club’s official website:
“I’m delighted we’ve been able to bring Jo back to the club. He did very well for us in his loan spell and it’s a big boost to be able to bring him back.”
Kuffour is The Gills second signing of the day after Dagenham & Redbridge striker Gavin Tomlin signed on loan until the end of the season.
Both Kuffour and Tomlin will be part of the squad that travels on Friday to play Shrewsbury Town on Saturday afternoon with striker Danny Kedwell ruled out with a broken rib.
