Kent’s Millie Knight claimed gold at the World Para Snow Sports Championships in Lillehammer in the Alpine Super Combined races, making it two medals in a matter of days.
The 23-year-old from Canterbury and PyeongChang Paralympic Games medallist, guided by Brett Wild, added to her bronze in Saturday’s Super-G race with Super Combined gold, as part of a British 1-2 that saw Menna Fitzpatrick take silver, guided by Katie Guest, with just 0.52s separating the British pair.
Sara Choi of South Korea took bronze, 5.92s behind Knight’s winning time of 2:12.10.
On Twitter, Knight excalaimed how proud she was: “SUPER COMBINED WORLD CHAMPIONS.”
