The Kent Kings are looking forward to returning to action on Monday when they welcome the Mildenhall Fen Tigers to Central Park.
The Fens have had a good record in the national trophy having won it four times but Kent are looking to beat their Suffolk opponents who only have only been able to keep two of their team who won the league and the knockout cup in 2012, they are captain Danny Halsey and promising young talent Josh Bates who is having an incredible season which includes winning his first national title when he won the Great Britain under 21 championship, the talented prospect was missing when Mildenhall came to Kent earlier this year, Bates and his team are set to face a full strength Kings team on Monday.
GB under 18 champion in 2008 Brendan Johnson has been a regular visitor at Central Park this season despite regularly being invited as a guest rider to other National League teams against Kent meaning he has developed a strong affinity with the Central Park track making him a major threat for Kent as he travels down with his official team for 2014.
Also set to come to Central Park is Joe Jacobs, who will arrive with the Tigers as a guest rider whilst he is on fast track duty with Elite League side the Wolverhampton Wolves.
Mildenhall also have two former Kent riders, Jack Kingston and Connor Cales were Kings in 2013, Coles scored an impressive paid 12 when the Tigers visited Kent in the league two months ago.
As for the kings, they are at full strength and ready to welcome The Tigers on Monday evening when the action will get underway at 6:30.
