Patrick Kibble is set for the British GT calendar highlight this weekend as he heads to the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium, for a two-hour race at the legendary venue.

Patrick has shone thus far in his debut British GT season having made the transition from the Ginetta Junior Championship. Patrick has been able to demonstrate his tenacious pace in a highly competitive GT4 class and the Aston Martin Racing Academy Driver has already celebrated a maiden pole position at Silverstone – he has been rapid in the recent races too.

This weekend will present a whole new challenge for the TF Sport racing driver, as he and team-mate Josh Price take on international territory in their Aston Martin Vantage GT4.

Set in the Belgian forest, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps sets the scene for a formidable place to go racing. The track is famous for its notoriously unpredictable weather conditions, in what is the only race in the championship to be held outside of the UK.

The venue is home to arguably one of the most famous motorsport corners in the world – Eau Rouge and Raidillon – which will provide an exciting challenge to Patrick.

In addition to Eau Rouge, Spa features another 19 corners on its 4.352-mile layout which will see the #95 car and a further 25 entrants battle it out in the GT4 class.

Currently sitting in 10th position in the GT4 class, Patrick will be keen to shoot up the standings this weekend with a strong performance in Spa.

Speaking ahead of the weekend, Kibble said: “I have been looking forward to this race since the start of the season. We have had some great moments this year, and some moments where things were completely out of our control. The car has been quick recently, so we can hopefully be competitive again this weekend, and achieve something at this special circuit.

“After a couple of week’s off from racing, I can’t wait to get back behind the wheel again to see what myself and Josh can achieve in Belgium, on such an iconic circuit!”
