Gills Ladies travelled to Keynsham on Sunday and brought back all three points to Kent.
The game ended in a 3-1 score line to the Gills with goals from Sarah Jones, Lauren Phillips and Danni Farmer.
It means that the Ladies have really found their form in recent weeks taking seven points from a possible nine; the win moves them up to fourth in the League.
Keysnham started the game very well and forced and excellent save from Quantrill in the first two minutes.
From the resulting corner a Keynsham player headed over from eight yards out to keep the scores level.
The Gills struggled to cope with the new surface early on and it was Keynsham who again had a couple of half chances but Quantrill was equal to it.
From that point on it was the Gills who dominated with some great football being played from the Ladies as confidence flowed.
They opened the scoring through an unlikely source though. A clearance from Keynsham was picked up 35 yards out from Sarah Jones and after shrugging off a player she let fly with a screamer that flew into the top corner.
This gave the Gills more confidence and they started to play some of their best football of the season with Williams, Farmer, Tune, Hardaker, Carlton all at the heart of the good football.
The second goal came after great play from Natalie Crinean saw her fouled 20 yards out from goal, just to the right of the area.
An in swinging free kick from Captain Danni Farmer was headed in by Lauren Phillips for her first goal of the season.
Just two minutes later and the Ladies were three-nil up. Brilliant play again from Natalie Crinean saw her spin away from two defenders before crossing the ball for Lauren Williams who had her point blank shot saved. She composed herself and pulled the ball back to Farmer who struck a fierce shot that was saved by the keeper but she was quick to follow up and tap home.
The Gills controlled the remainder of the game and did a thoroughly professional job with the back four playing brilliantly.
This combined with the work rate from Lauren Phillips and Natalie Crinean it was a very good performance.
The only slight blemish being a long range Keynsham shot that was brilliantly saved by Sarah Quantrill but unfortunately for her the ball dropped to the striker who tapped home.
Full Time 1-3
