Dover Athletic – Chris Kinnear has made Dover’s first signing of the close season, with highly-rated central defender Jamie Grimes joining the club from Kidderminster Harriers.

24-year-old Grimes came through the ranks at Premier League side Swansea City before joining Harriers in March 2013.

Welling United – popular left back Ben Jefford has signed for the Wings on a further one year contract.

The wings defender suffered with injuries in the first half of last season which saw him loaned to Ebbsfleet United. The 20 year old came back and had a strong finish to the season and helped the Wings see off the threat of relegation.

Bromley – Existing season ticket holders have one last chance to take up the clubs “Early bird offers” as they only have until tomorrow (Friday 15th May) to take up the offer.

Prices are as follows – Adults: £300 – Early bird price £275*; OAPs: £200 – Early bird price £175*;  Students / Under 16s: £100 – Early Bird price £75*

Ebbsfleet United – The Fleet are delighted to announce the signing of a four-year kit supply agreement with leading provider Macron.

General manager Dave Archer said, “After two months of negotiation we are pleased to conclude this agreement with Macron UK. The agreement will see Macron providing the complete fit-out of the new retail outlet within our signature stand and will offer its wide range of sporting and leisurewear”.

Maidstone United – Matt Bodkin is the latest to have a new deal with Maidstone.  The midfielder made 55 appearances during the championship-winning campaign, scoring five goals follows in the footsteps of Alex Brown who was the first of last season’s championship-winning squad to put pen to paper on a new deal.

Margate – so whilst other clubs are already preparing and planning for the new season, the Gate finally play their Play Off Semi Final with Dulwich Hamlet at Hartsdown Park tonight – full coverage as always here on KSN with the final scheduled for this coming Sunday with Hendon or Met Police providing the opposition to the Hartsdown winners.

Tonbridge Angels – Angels manager, Steve McKimm is continuing to work hard in building a 1st team squad for this season’s Ryman Premier campaign.

Discussions are taking place around obtaining a proven centre forward and goalkeeper. Talks are also ongoing with midfielder Mitchell Pinnock, who enjoyed his loan spell at Longmead last season, and is considering the club’s current offer.

VCD Athletic – former Thamesmead Town’s boss Keith McMahon’s self imposed sabbatical from the managers hot seat is over as he’s been named as the new manager of VCD following Tony Russells much publicised departure to Cray Wanderers.

McMahon if you remember left the Bayliss Avenue side earlier in the year due to non footballing reasons.

Chatham Town – Fantastic news for Chatham Town fans with the club to play their football in the Ryman South next season meaning lots of local derbies.

Cray Wanderers – when was the last time a club won two “manager of the months” in the same season?  Well that’s what has just happened with Cray as Tommy Warrilow who was deservedly awarded the Macron Ryman North Manager of the month for April keeping the Wanderers in the Ryman North by winning all six games in April which added to the four games won at the end of March meant Cray were to able steer clear of relegation.

In a double success new Cray boss Tony Russell was the winner of the Macron Ryman Premier Manager of the month for April. Tony’s former club VCD Athletic won their last six games to help guide the Vickers to a Great Escape of their own.

Folkestone Invicta – Folkestone have announced that Paul Morgan has joined the club’s board as an Associate Director.  Paul, a Millwall supporter and season ticket holder, and his company Alltype Pumps, based in Forest Hill, London have already supported the club in a number of ways and he has now agreed to join the board.

Herne Bay – Following the last match at Winch’s Field a start is being made immediately to prepare the pitch and ground for next season and to bring the pitch up to an acceptable level again.

This will again cost just over £5,000.00 so if anyone is willing to assist financially, however small, then their support would be invaluable.

The first job is the removal of the old goal posts and the installation of the new ones. This has to be done before work can commence with the main part of the pitch renovation.

If anyone is willing to assist in digging out the old goal posts this would be very much appreciated.  With regards to this, and the other works around the ground, if there are volunteers to assist, then again it would be much appreciated.

Work begins at Winches Field this coming Saturday – May 16th – at 10 am to discuss what needs to be done, how, and when, by whom.

Ramsgate – upon their return to Southwood, the Ward brothers have been busy making signings. At time of writing Luke Watkins (from Whitstable), whilst Luke Wheatley, Stephen Butcher have all re-signed for the Rams
