Kent women’s and girls’ cricket has had another season of resounding success, with the women’s team currently top of the County Championship table and through to the national Twenty20 final.
The last Championship match is to be played on 2nd September v Essex (venue to be confirmed) and the Twenty20 final will be played on Monday 27th August at Wokingham Cricket Club.
The draw sees Sussex meet Yorkshire in one semi-final and Kent play Berkshire at 11am with the final and the 3rd/4th place game at 3pm.
The squad for Kent is : C Edwards (c) T Beaumont (Wkt) A Davidson-Richards, D Cooper, E Hubbard, G Gibbs, H Jelfs, J Watts, L Thompson, R Dick, S Rowe and T Farrant
Meanwhile, The U17 girls are through to the final of the ECB Championship competition, having won the Southern Group, and will play at Reading Cricket Club on 29th and 30th August.
And finally, the U15 team, also having won the Southern Group, play their final at Dunstable Cricket Club on the 27th and 28th August.
